OSHA 30 is a comprehensive safety course designed for anyone involved in general industry. It is devised specifically for, but not limited to, safety directors and field supervisors. This program provides complete compliance information to safety concerns.
The General Industry Outreach course will educate employees about the following safety issues:
- Safety and Health Management
- Fall Protection Relating to Working and Walking Surfaces
- Handling Materials Standards
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Standards For Hazard Communication
- Planning For Emergencies
The course will also include presentations on 5 of the following topics, depending on the instructor:
- Highly Hazardous Materials
- Confined Spaces that Require Permits
- Powered Industrial Vehicles
- Protecting Against Falls
- Guarding Used in Machinery
- Hazards in Welding, Cutting, and Brazing
- Preventing Spread of Bloodborne Pathogens
- Utilizing Ergonomics
- Industrial Hygiene and It’s Importance
- Tagout/Lockout
- General Health and Safety Programs
