Safety Advisors

Health and Safety technical support in preparation of projects, start-up and turnarounds, and sub-contractor safety issues. Provides visible leadership in implementing the HSE program and involving employees in activities such as hazard assessment, hazard analysis, and program evaluation.

Injury & Illness Prevention Plans  (IIPPS)

In California every employer has a legal obligation to provide and maintain a safe and healthful workplace for employees, according to the California Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1973. As of 1991, a written, effective Injury and Illness Prevention (IIP), Program is required for every California employer.This manual describes the employers’ responsibilities in establishing, implementing, maintaining, an IIP Program. It also outlines steps that can be taken to develop an effective Program that helps assure the safety and health of employees while on the job.The term “employer” as used in the Cal/OSHA Act includes any person or corporation, the State and every State agency, every county or city or district and public agency therein, which has any person engaged in or permitted to work for hire, except for household services.

This manual is designed to help employers provide better workplace protection for their employees, and to reduce losses resulting from accidents and injuries. The material in this publication is based on principles and techniques developed by occupational safety and health professionals nationwide. It is intended to provide guidance, rather than prescribe requirements, and is not intended as a legal interpretation of any state standard.

Confined Space Rescue Services

Our Rescue Confined Space Training Program offers comprehensive coverage of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 and meets all applicable training (including ANSI and NFPA) standards. In the classroom, the course introduces the student to the requirements of entry procedures as stated in the OSHA regulation. The classroom exercises emphasize the human element of the confined space equation and cover authorized entrant and attendant duties and the practical development of a Confined Space Rescue Team.

Mock OSHA inspections and mock OSHA audits along with review of your overall safety programs will help your company to identify gaps or oversight in your programs. Independent safety audits frequently reveal items that the company would never have noticed until an actual OSHA inspection occurred or an employee was either seriously or fatally injured.Independent mock OSHA inspection or audits of your safety programs, training, and effectiveness is extremely helpful to identify weak areas of a safety program, safety training, safety documentation, and other issues.
